I have seen a few pics online (of the real SIG divers not the factory buyouts) where it looks a little like that. In those cases it is hard to tell if it is better or worse in person and the poster wasn't bringing it up.

Steve, Have you ever seen the Klippel Listening Test that A/B tests audibility of distortion? You can use test tones or music (although you can't select your OWN music). https://www.klippel.de/listeningtest/
